The official reply of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of Russia to the letter of appeal of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia says that the  All-Russia  State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company has been assigned to take all necessary measures to ensure the national anthem of the Russian Federation be broadcast daily on the territory of Astrakhan Region. The decision is based on Article 4 of the Law On the National Anthem of the Russian Federation.

As a result of repeated appeals made by the representatives of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia to the competent authorities, the rights of a participant in military operations in the Chechen Republic were restored. The complainant was provided with certificate of military operations’ veteran that gives him right to a monthly allowance.

A resident of Dagestan has been offered  on-the-job  training, suggested to apply for a military service contract, and provided with an allowance, the official reply from the Government of the Republic of Dagestan to the request by the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia says.

On 4 September, the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia received a letter of gratitude from patient B., who, with assistance of the High Commissioner’s Office staff members, had received medical treatment in due time.

A monument to the warriors killed during the Great Patriotic War, located in the Village of Korotkovo, Ulyanovsk Region, was reconstructed and improved, the region’s administration replied to the appeal of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation.

On 10 July, two residents of Prokop’evsk Town (Kemerovo Region) were be provided with new comfortable apartments, the Kemerovo Region Administration says in its official reply to High Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Ella Pamfilova.

On the initiative of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia (FAS Russia) has inspected, at the federal and regional levels, the breach of the antimonopoly law by the enterprises selling food products and basic consumer goods to prisoners and detainees. The information was given in the Prosecutor General’s official letter of reply to the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia, received on 2 July.
