On 18 September, Сommissioner for Human Rights in Primorski Krai Valery Rozov held open office hours for public in Ussuriisk.

On 17 September, Commissioner for Human Rights in Novosibirsk Region Nina Shalabayeva visited regional Correctional Facility No. 14.

Following an inspection initiated by Commissioner for Human Rights in Novosibirsk Region Nina Shalabaeva, labour legislation infringements were found out and an employee reinstated in his former job.

On 14 September, a regular release of ‘Human Rights’ programme was broadcast on the Public Television of Russia channel (OTR).

On 11 September, the Office of the Khabarovsk Territory Commissioner for Human Rights hosted a roundtable on  re-socialisation  of former prisoners, initiated by the Far East Scientific Centre of Local  Self-Government . Following the meeting a resolution concerning establishment of a system for former prisoners’ rehabilitation was adopted in Khabarovsk Territory.

On 11 September, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Alexey Efimov visited Correctional Facility No. 1 in Yakutsk.

A traditional social and cultural event called 'Time to Read' was launched in Astrakhan.

On 8 September, Commissioner for Human Rights in Tomsk Region Elena Kartashova inspected Pre-Trial  Detention Centre No. 1 ( SIZO-1 ) of the Tomsk Region Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia. Ms Kartashova checked how the elections would be arranged for the detainees in the facility.
