Back on 12 February, Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Ella Pamfilova sent a telegram to Minister of Healthcare of Russia Veronika Skvortsova with a request to assist in facilitating urgent hospitalisation of a child Yaroslav M.
On 16 February, the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia assisted German specialists in carrying out medical examination of the Ukrainian servicewoman Nadezhda Savchenko. The German doctors assessed the health status of Ms Savchenko as satisfactory.
On 13 February, Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia visited again the hospital MSU No. 77 of the FPS of Russia (‘Matrosskaya Tishina’ remand centre in Moscow), where Nadezhda Savchenko remains in custody. The meeting took place due to the new appeal of Nadezhda Savchenko to the Russian Commissioner.
On 12 February 2015, a contest for development of a concept of an architectural and sculptural composition ‘Monument to Victims of Political Repressions’ in Moscow was launched.

On 3 February, the meeting between Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Ella Pamfilova and Ambassador of Ireland to the Russian Federation Eoin O’Leary was held. The participants in the meeting discussed a number of international aspects of human rights protection and specific features of the human rights commissioner’s institute in Russia, as well as outlined the ways of cooperation in the human rights protection area.
