On February 28, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Mikhail Vinogradov held a working meeting with Rashid Aluash, OHCHR Officer responsible for the joint programme of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and the Russian Federation.

In the framework of further development of bilateral cooperation, the parties updated the plan of joint actions in legal education and discussed the implementation of training programs for staff members of the regional commissioners’ offices.

The participants of the meeting paid special attention to the creation of a portal of international legal information on the protection of citizens’ rights.

In conclusion, the parties discussed new areas of work and outlined the timing of joint activities.
