Meeting of members of European Network of the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions (GANHRI)
On March 4, High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova took part in meeting of members of the European Network of the Global Alliance of National Institutions for the Protection of Human Rights (GANRI) in Geneva.
During the event, representatives of national human rights institutions from different countries discussed results of the joint work in 2018.
Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Dunja Mijatović addressed with a welcoming speech. In her speech, Dunia Mijatović noted that the joint work of ombudsmen will allow to achieve serious results and solidarity is one of the best ways to solve emerging issues.
On March 5, an exchange of views on the protection of women’s rights will take place within the framework of GANHRI events.
