Director of Secretariat of High Commissioner took part in OSCE seminar in Warsaw

On 1–3 June Aleksandr Glushenkov, the Director of the Secretariat of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, took part in the Human Dimension Seminar on the role of National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) in promoting and protecting human rights in the OSCE area.

Mr Glushenkov made a presentation on the activity of the Russian Ombudsman Institution as well as on the recent amendments to the Russian legislation on jurisdiction of the High Commissioner and establishment of the unified and independent network of Russian regional Commissioners for Human Rights.
