Dialogue with society. Student’s right to scholarship restored

In 2020 the important innovation was the gradual transition of payments to automatic mode. This means that a person does not need to write an application and collect documents. This timely measure has become particularly relevant to the pandemic. However, sometimes, people face different problems.
A mother of the student from the Kursk region requested High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova. Her daughter was refused to get a certificate, which was necessary for obtaining a scholarship at a university.
Tatiana Moskalkova sent a request to the regional Prosecutor’s Office. It turned out that the refusal of the social protection authorities was unjustified. Thanks to the joint work, the girl got a scholarship.
The support for students is an integral element of the state social policy. Benefits, payments, and other assistance motivate students to study and give them confidence in the future.
