Due to the Commissioner’s appeal to the Prosecutor of Volgograd Region, the right of an applicant to judicial protection was restored and a criminal case on fraud was opened 20 November 2014.

For six years a 66 year-old lady Ms K. from Volgograd city could not make it happen that the person at whose fault she had been left with no dwelling and money be impleaded.

As far back as in 2008, the aggrieved addressed to the Police Division No. 4 of the MVD in Volgograd, but no measures to investigate the case have been taken up to now.

Officials of the regional Ministry of the Interior Directorate and the Prosecutor’s Office have also disregarded the lady’s complaint. Appeals to the Interior Minister and the Prosecutor General have been useless as well. Each time after examination of the complaint, the prosecution was denied.

Due to the obvious violations committed by law-enforcement officers during the prejudicial proceedings, the case was taken under control.

Following the submission addressed by the Prosecutor to the head of the police division, the persons in charge were brought to disciplinary liability.
