On 18 June, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Alexey Efimov and Minister of Internal Affairs of Yakutia Vladimir Prokopenko sent a joint request to the republic’s head Egor Borisov to consider an opportunity to finance construction and repair of detention centres for those in temporary custody for administrative offences.

On 18 June, Commissioner for Human Rights in Ivanovo Region Natalia Kovaleva held a working meeting on procrastination problem in executing court judgements related to aliens and stateless persons’ deportation.

A charitable event organised jointly by Commissioner for Human Rights in Arkhangelsk Region Lyubov Anisimova and Lomonosov Central City Library to collect books for social support institutions is being held in the region.

For the first time volunteer lawyers will be able to take part in the regional Lawyer of the Year contest. The Regional Administration made this decision in late May 2015, following the suggestion made by Commissioner for Human Rights in Tomsk Region Elena Kartashova to provide  non-commercial  organisations with an opportunity to propose volunteer lawyers for participation in the contest, and to appraise them in a separate nomination.

On 10 June, Commissioner for Human Rights in Penza Region Elena Rogova presented her report on observance and protection of human and civil rights and freedoms in 2014 to deputies of the regional Legislative Assembly.

On 16 June, a representative of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia took part in a roundtable named ‘Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency’.

Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Buryatia Yulia Zhambalova, Acting Deputy Head of the Department Alexey Kochetov, and Acting Assistant Head of the Department for Human Rights Protection in the Penitentiary System Viktor Plastinin made a joint inspection visit to the Penal Colony No. 7 (IK-7  UFSIN of Russia in the Republic of Buryatia).

On 10–11 June, an international human rights conference named ‘Legal Formation of a Democratic Civic Consciousness’ was held in Grozny (the Chechen Republic) with support of the Council of Europe and the High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation.

On 9 June, Commissioner for Human Rights in Novosibirsk Region Nina Shalabayeva presented her report on civil rights' and freedoms' observation and protection in 2014 at the 7th (extraordinary) Session of the Legislative Assembly of Novosibirsk Region.

In April and May the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation held a number of joint workshops with election commissions of the subjects of the Russian Federation to discuss "The Mission of Election Commissions to Arrange and Hold Elections to the State Government Bodies of the Subjects of the Russian Federation and Local Government Bodies on a Single Voting Day, September 13, 2015".
