Primorye Commissioner signed cooperation agreement with regional prosecutor’s office
On 17 July, Commissioner for Human Rights in Primorye Territory Valeriy Rozov signed a cooperation agreement with the regional prosecutor’s office. The agreement implies that the above bodies shall coordinate their actions in supervising implementation of law in correctional facilities, forming an integrated mechanism of human and civil rights and freedoms protection.
Altai Commissioner assessed detention conditions of aliens subject to deportation
On 15 July, Commissioner for Human Rights in Altai Territory Boris Larin inspected the Special Accommodation Centre (SUVSIG) of the Federal Migration Service Directorate in Altai Territory, where 40 citizens of Armenia, Georgia, Israel, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan were awaiting their deportation from Russia.
