With assistance of Commissioner for Human Rights in Tomsk Region Elena Kartashova housing rights of sisters left without parents were restored. A gift deed granting a share in the sisters’ apartment to a stranger was declared void by a court decision.

Commissioner for Human Rights in Samara Region Olga Galtsova appealed to the Head of Samara city and the Prosecutor’s Office of Samara Region on behalf of citizen T., who has been waiting for resettling from a dangerous building for more than 13 years.

The Annual Report of Commissioner for Human Rights in Sakhalin Region Sergei Sedov was considered at a meeting of the Regional Duma Committee on  Nation-Building , Regulation and Local  Self-Government . The deputies gave their positive assessment of the Commissioner`s recommendations and will continue their work with this document at the next meeting of the local Parliament.

On 4 April, Commissioner for Human Rights in Bryansk Region Vychaslav Tulupov met with Governor of Bryansk Region Aleksander Bogomaz. The aim of the meeting was to present the annual report on the observance of human rights in 2015 to the Governor of Bryansk Region.

On 30 March, Commissioner for Human Rights in Krasnodar Territory Segrey Myshak and Director of the Department of the Federal Bailiff Service in Krasnodar Territory Aleksander Kumirov signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of protection of human and civil rights and freedoms.

On 30 March, Commissioner for Human Rights in Saint Petersburg Alexander Shishlov presented his report on the observance of human rights in 2015 to the Legislative Assembly of the city.
