Astrakhan human rights and children’s rights commissioners held open office hours for public jointly with Regional Prosecutor
On 11 May, Commissioner for Human Rights in Astrakhan Region Andrey Spitsyn held open hours for the public with Commissioner for Children’s Rights Alexandra Kurmaeva and Prosecutor Alexander Lychagin. The event was held under the cooperation agreement.
Commissioner for Human Rights in Chelyabinsk Region Margarita Pavlova and Prosecutor in Chelyabinsk Region Alexander Kondratiev signed a cooperation agreement for protection of regional residents’ human rights and liberties, reported the Press Service of the Chelyabinsk Commissioner on 11 May.
With assistance of Commissioner for Human Rights in Altai Territory Boris Larin the right of a disabled person to accessible environment was restored, the citizen was provided with a bank card to receive his disability pension.

On 28 April, the second extended workshop for students of the master’s programme ‘International Protection of Human Rights’ was held at the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia. The first meeting with future human rights defenders was conducted on 2 March.
