On 11–12 of May, there was a meeting of the first Coordination Council of Commissioners for Human Rights and Children’s Commissioners in the Ural Federal District on the topic of "Results of modernization in the public health service: to protect an individual".

Since the beginning of the year Commissioner for Human Rights in the Altai Territory Boris Larin has received several complaints about problems in a regular school in Krutishka.

Thanks to the assistance of Commissioner for Human Rights in the Region of Novosibirsk Nina Shalabaeva, the justice in respect to an elderly woman was restored.

Thanks to the interference of the Commissioner for Human Rights in Sevastopol Pavel Butsay, the disposal of the Great Patriotic War bomb was done without explosive demolition.

On May 4, a regular meeting of the Coordination Council of Commissioners for Human Rights in the Far Eastern Federal District (FEFD) took place under the aegis of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Khabarovsk Region Igor Chesnitskiy.

On May 3, a charitable action Read As You Please which was organized by the regional Commissioner for Human Rights Elena Kartashova ended in Tomsk Region.

On May 4, the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Irkutsk Region Valeriy Lukin visited the correctional camp № 14 of the Head Office of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Irkutsk Region. In the course of the inspection, the Regional Commissioner detected numerous violations some of which constituted a threat to life.

On May 2, the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Ingushetia Dzhambulat Ozdoev met Yunus-bek Yevkurov, Head of the Republic.
