On 15–16 May, an interregional scientific and practical conference of Commissioners for Human Rights in the subjects of the Russian Federation took place in Yaroslavl and was devoted to topical issues of citizens’ complaints handling. The conference was organized by the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Yaroslavl Region Sergey Baburkin.

On May 15, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Komi Republic Nadezhda Bykovskaya took part in the presentation of the document "Social support for families with children in the Komi Republic" which comprises the information about support measures prescribed for families with children by federal and local legislation.

On May 15, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Nenets Autonomous District Larisa Sviridova and President of the Red Cross regional office Svetlana Khatanzeyskaya signed an agreement on cooperation and collaboration. The event was confined to the 150th anniversary of the humanitarian organization.
