Yulia Zhambalova: Lawyers should be involved in solving of socially important issues
On 12 March, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Buryatia Yulia Zhambalova met with Acting President of Buryat State University Nikolay Moshkin. The parties resolved to cooperate in human rights education and to found a joint human rights department at the university.
"The idea of a specialised basic department at the law faculty seems to be extremely useful and likely to be implemented, since it is to involve the scientific community of lawyers in resolving of socially important issues at the ombudsman’s and university’s agenda," Yulia Zhambalova said.
In his turn Nikolay Moshkin noted that "it will help students get real life experience in soling various legal issues while studying yet."
