On October 16, winners of the Regional stage of the national award "Civil Initiative" were determined in the Ulyanovsk Region. Social projects and initiatives of citizens from all municipal formations of the Region took part in the competition.

Commissioner for Human Rights in the Ulyanovsk Region Lyudmila Krutilina acted as an expert in the nomination "There is no such thing as an someone else’s trouble". In this nomination, 5 projects aimed at rendering assistance and support to people who found themselves in a difficult life situation were presented.
"In order to help another person, to support him in a difficult moment, it is necessary to have a big, kind heart. We are already familiar with some project participants, we are holding events together. But new names and projects have appeared, and it’s great. Getting acquainted with the good deeds of the project participants, everyone is remembered by the beloved Dr. Lisa — Elizaveta Glinka, who is an example of disinterested help to people. The more followers will be among us, the kinder our Region will be",- noted Lyudmila Krutilina.
13 laureates received statuettes and the right to become guests of the federal stage of the award.
