Candidacy of new Chelyabinsk Commissioner to be approved by regional MPs

The candidacy of a new Commissioner for Human Rights in Chelyabinsk Region will be approved by deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Sixth Convocation.

The legislators will be elected by residents of the Southern Urals on 13 September 2015, Speaker Vladimir Myakush said at the end of the last session of the Legislative Assembly of the Fifth Convocation.

The term of office of the current regional Commissioner, Alexey Sevastyanov, will come to an end in September 2015.
