On April 17, High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova held a video conference call with candidate for the position of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Ulyanovsk Region Sergey Lyulkov.

During the conversation, Tatiana Moskalkova and Sergey Lyulkov discussed the human rights situation in the region, in particular, topical issues of observing social rights of citizens.

The meeting participants also paid attention to protecting the rights of citizens in the field of health care, including in the context of the current pandemic.

Following the conversation, Tatiana Moskalkova agreed on the appointment of Sergey Lyulkov to the post of Commissioner for Human Rights in the Ulyanovsk Region.
