On June 10, High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova held a video conference call with candidate for the post of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Pskov Region Dmitry Shakhov.

During the conversation, Tatiana Moskalkova and Dmitry Shakhov discussed the human rights situation in the region, in particular, human rights issues during a pandemic, as well as preparing and holding the nationwide vote on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation.

Following the meeting, Tatiana Moskalkova agreed on the appointment of Dmitry Shakhov to the post of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Pskov Region for the second term.
