Chelyabinsk ombudsman set forth suggestions to be included in Governor’s Address

On 20 January, Commissioner for Human Rights in Chelyabinsk Region Alexey Sevastyanov introduced a range of initiatives which in his opinion should be reflected in the Governor’s Address to the Legislative Assembly’s deputies in Chelyabinsk.
"There were three key subjects. The first one was the Civil Amnesty Project, then the protection of rights of persons with disabilities, and the last one was the protection of rights of those living in residence halls, who had not yet privitised their dwellings," Mr Sevastyanov underscored. The Civil Amnesty Project concerns conclusion of amicable agreements with citizens in cases initiated by the authorities.
The Governor’s Address to the Legislative Assembly is to set primary tasks for all authorities and specify priorities in developing the region for the upcoming year.
