Sevastopol Commissioner defended labor rights of head of school
With the assistance of Commissioner for Human Rights in the city of Sevastopol Pavel Butsai, the labor rights of the head of the school were restored.
The regional Commissioner received a collective appeal from the staff of the general education school. 250 people, including teachers and parents, petitioned for a new employment agreement with the director of the school.
Citizen G. administered the school for 28 years. In November 2017, the woman turns 70 years old, and due to her age, she could be fired. According to the applicants, for the years of pedagogical activity, G. showed high professional and personal qualities and deserved to continue in office.
Having examined this appeal, Pavel Butsai held a series of meetings with the initiators of the appeal, the Department of Education and city administrations of Sevastopol, and also sent a request to the Government of Sevastopol for a new employment agreement with G.
Thus, the parties come to an arrangement on signing a new labor agreement with citizen G.
In July, the staff of the regional Commissioner received gratitude from the teachers and students of the school.
