On 11 February, a regular release of ‘Human Rights’ programme was aired on the Public Television of Russia channel (OTR). Commissioner for Human Rights in Kaluga Region Yuriy Zelnikov was a guest of the studio. The discussion was focused on the activity of human rights commissioners in Russian regions, its main priorities and criteria of efficiency.

Yuriy Zelnikov spoke about the cooperation of the Commissioner with state and local self-government authorities of Kaluga Region, most frequent complaints of the locals, and the organisation of human rights education in the region. The Commissioner answered on air the questions of the viewers from different regions concerning the restoration of their violated rights.
