On December 20, a helpline and online consultations for women who found themselves in a difficult life situation began to work in St. Petersburg.

The project is being implemented within the framework of support of non-profit organizations by the Fund-Operator of presidential grants for the development of civil society with the assistance of Commissioner for Human Rights in Saint Petersburg Alexander Shishlov, in order to prevent domestic violence, poverty, social exclusion and orphanhood.

During 2018 in the office of the St. Petersburg Commissioner, «mutual aid groups» will be held monthly for the participants of the project. The results of the detected violations monitoring will be presented to the Advisory Council under the Commissioner and will be included in a special report on the situation of women.
Free legal, psychological and emergency assistance is provided to victims of domestic violence, victims of trafficking, unlawfully dismissed persons, who have not received proper social benefits and alimony, as well as women and their children who found themselves in other difficult circumstances.
