On 4 October, open office hours for public timed to Decade of Elderly People were held by the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in Novosibirsk Region.

In general, citizens who appealed to the Commissioner complained about quality of medical assistance in regional healthcare facilities.

All the applicants were clarified on the issues they had complained about. Several questions were followed up by the Commissioner and competitive authorities.
