As a result of the Commissioner for Human Rights in Novosibirsk Region’s petition to the Novosibirsk Region Department of the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing an administrative case has been launched against a local organisation.

Citizen Y. addressed the Commissioner on the issue of unlawful activity of Kolos Enterprise. She reported that violation of the veterinary legislation had jeopardized the organisation’s consumer’s health.

Within the framework of the petition’s consideration the Commissioner appealed to the Novosibirsk Region Department of the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing. After that, a site inspection was conducted by the Novosibirsk Region Veterinary Department.

The inspection revealed violations of the veterinary legislation of the Russian Federation. An administrative case was launched against the organisation under Article 10.8, Part 1 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation.
