On June 25, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Novosibirsk Region Nina Shalabaeva familiarized herself with the conscription service terms and provisions, the history of the battalion formation, the prevailing military traditions.

Separately, the Commissioner spoke with citizens belonging to the category of persons from among orphans and children left without parental care.

Also, during her visit to the unit, Nina Shalabaeva awarded several servicemen with Certificates of Honor of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Novosibirsk Region for their great contribution to the patriotic education of younger generation, holding events dedicated to the celebration of Victory Day.

The command asked the ombudswoman for transferring human rights pamphlets from the Library of the Commissioner to the military unit with the purpose of servicemen legal education in various fields of law: housing, economic, social, environmental, etc.
