On 29 January, Commissioner for human rights in Novosibirsk Region Nina Shalabaeva held open office hours for the public in Kolyvan' District of the region.

The citizens raised questions concerning the following issues: their registration as persons in need of new housing, provision of medical assistance, subsidies for the public utilities, financial assistance, and others.

The regional Commissioner held also a meeting with the Head of the Kolyvan’ District of Novosibirsk Region who informed Ms Shalabayeva on the complications and achievements of the district.

Besides, the Commissioner met with the Chairman of the Kolyvan′ District Branch of the Public Association "The Union of Russian Pensioners" who briefed her on the activities of the branch.
