Novosibirsk Commissioner held a number of events
On July 20, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Novosibirsk Region Nina Shalabaeva took part in the judges’ retreat.
The meeting was held under Chairperson of the Novosibirsk Regional Court Rimma Shatovkina.
In her speech, Nina Shalabaeva commended the cooperation with the courts of the Novosibirsk Region and noted the positive trends in reforming Russian judicial system.
After the meeting, the regional Commissioner held a meeting with schoolchildren of the Suzun settlement. Many of the children present said that they thought about choosing a lawyer’s profession after leaving school.
On the same day, the ombudsman together with the Chairperson of the Novosibirsk Regional Court held an onsite reception of citizens. The applicants touched upon the issues of enforcement proceedings, as well as protection of labor and housing rights. All the complaints were handled.
