On 9 June, Commissioner for Human Rights in Moscow Region Ekaterina Semyonova held open office hours for the public in Ruza municipal district. Representatives of the district administration, law enforcement bodies, prosecutor’s office and other officials took part in the event.
The Commissioner received 12 complaints. She gave consultations on all the cases and accepted 4 complaints for further handling. Ekaterina Semyonova noted that the rights are mostly violated because people do not know whom they can address. She underlined that relevant bodies must make this information publicly available.
