Kursk Commissioner met with students

On September 24, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Kursk Region Vladimir Firsov met with law faculty students of Kursk State University.
In the course of the conversation, Vladimir Firsov highlighted one of the most important spheres of the Commissioner’s activity, namely, citizens' appeals consideration. The students also got familiar with the legislative basis for the ombudsman’s activity in the region, the procedure for conducting citizens' reception, etc.
For illustration purposes, Vladimir Firsov provided several examples from his human rights activities, when he was able to help citizens protect their rights. The presentation aroused genuine interest among the youth audience, the Commissioner received many questions.
