On 25 February, it became known that the Magistrates’ Court dismissed the case of the Krasnodar Regional Public Organisation of University Graduates on performing actions of a foreign agent while being unregistered in the relevant list in the absence of administrative offence.

The court’s decision was based on the Prosecutor’s inspection required by the regional human rights commissioner Sergey Myshak.

For reference: on 30 December last year, Mr Myshak requested the Prosecutor’s Office of Krasnodar Territory to inspect the legitimate character of inclusion of the above organisation in the foreign agents’ registry. Earlier, the Ministry of Justice claimed to fine the organisation for "political activity" being executed while the NCO had not been registered in the relevant list.
