Draft constitutional law amending procedure of work of regional human rights commissioners upheld by deputies in Kamchatka

At the 28th Session of the Legislative Council in Kamchatka Territory, the deputies upheld the draft constitutional law amending the procedure of work of regional human rights commissioners.
The draft law upheld by members of the local parliament of Kamchatka Territory determines the fundamentals of the status of the human rights commissioner in a territorial entity of the Russian Federation, defines mechanism of appointment and dismissal, and regulates the issues of management and performance of the regional commissioner’s activities.
