Thanks to the assistance of Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Dagestan Ummupazil Omarova it was possible to restore the housing rights of the region inhabitants.

Citizen T. addressed the regional Commissioner with a complaint about the actions of a management company. According to the applicant, the company unreasonably increased the amount of payment for the maintenance of common property in the apartment building.

The legislation of the Russian Federation provides for the determining the above payment amount taking into account the decision of the homeowners, but the management company violated this order.

Having familiarized with the materials provided, Ummupazil Omarova sent a request to the State Housing Inspectorate of the Republic of Dagestan.

According to the response, the supervisory organization issued an order to the management company to eliminate violations and restore the violated rights of residents.
