In early September, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Udmurt Republic Veniamin Solomennikov met with Governor of the Udmurt office of Sberbank of Russia Sergei Konovalov.
The meeting resulted in the cooperation agreement conclusion. The main purpose of the document is to create a mechanism that will allow to detect, solve and prevent possible disputable issues affecting the individuals’ rights in the field of banking services provision, as well as improving banking services quality and increasing the financial education level of the Udmurtia population.
The agreement provides for various forms of joint work of the regional Commissioner and Sberbank of Russia, such as: organization of informational and consultative meetings, working group meetings, developing proposals for legislation improvement and legal and financial education.
In conclusion, the parties outlined a plan for joint activities for 2017.
