Commissioner in Ingushetia defended mother’s right to receive benefits
Thanks to the assistance of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Ingushetia Dzhambulat Ozdoev, mother managed to get a childcare benefit.
The citizen P. addressed to the Commissioner with a complaint about the inaction of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Ingushetia. According to the applicant, in 2010 she submitted the necessary documents to the institution for receiving a childcare allowance for children aged under a year and a half.
According to Russian legislation, this benefit is paid by a social protection body no later than the 26th day of the month following the month of the application receipt. However, the applicant did not receive the stipulated grant.
Having carefully examined the materials of the complaint, Dzhambulat Ozdoev sent the necessary inquiries to the regional Ministry of Labor and to the post office at the place of residence of the woman.
Based on the results of the audition, an error was identified, in connection with which the citizen P. was not included in the list of beneficiaries in 2011. The woman was immediately paid the amount for all months of the period of receiving the childcare allowance for children aged under a year and a half.
Thus, after the intervention of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Ingushetia, the social rights of the resident were restored.
