Commissioner for Human Rights in Krasnodar Territory handed veteran Russian passport

On 6 May, Commissioner for Human Rights in Krasnodar Territory Segrey Myshak together with acting head of the Krasnodar Territory Department of the Federal Migration Service of Russia Alexander Panteleev handed a passport of Russian citizen to 90 years old veteran of the Great Patriotic War P. who had come from Ukraine.
This story started in 2015 when the granddaughter of the veteran of the Great Patriotic War appealed to the Commissioner during open hours with a request to assist her grandfather to acquire citizenship of the Russian Federation.
The Commissioner had repeatedly appealed to the Krasnodar Territory Department of the FMS of Russia with requests to take measures to solve this problem. Only after the appeal of Kuban Commissioner to Head of the FMS of Russia Konstantin Romodanovsky the decision on awarding the veteran with Russian citizenship was made.
