Commissioner for Human Rights in the Chelyabinsk Region Margarita Pavlova and the regional prosecutor Vitaly Lopin signed a cooperation agreement.

The document regulates the interaction of the parties on the protection of human and civil rights and freedoms, identifying, eliminating and preventing their violations, attaching importance to the use for this purpose of all the legal and organizational resources provided to them, and taking into account the need and effectiveness of coordinated implementation of control and supervision over observance of the rights and freedoms of man and citizen.

"A significant place in the activities of the Commissioner is interaction with the regional prosecutor’s office. The signing of the agreement will contribute to the effectiveness of measures taken to protect the rights of citizens", — said Margarita Pavlova.

In turn, Vitaly Lopin expressed confidence that the joint efforts would ensure strict observance of the rights of the inhabitants of the region.
