The issues of observance and protection of citizens’ electoral rights of the Russian Federation are one of the prioritized activities of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Bryansk region.

On August 22, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Bryansk region Vyacheslav Tulupov signed an agreement on cooperation with Chairperson of the Election Commission in the Bryansk region Elena Annenkova.

The main purpose of the agreement is the interaction of the parties in the sphere of ensuring and protecting the electoral rights of the Russian Federation citizens.

Moreover, the parties will participate in the legislation improvement, in population’s legal education activities, as well as provide mutual consulting and information services.

In conclusion, Vyacheslav Tulupov and Elena Annenkova outlined a plan for joint activities for 2017.
