Bryansk Commissioner checked the observance of the rights of convicted people
On April 18, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Bryansk Region Vyacheslav Tulupov visited the strict regime colony No.2 of the Bryansk Region Department of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia.
The main purpose of the ombudsman’s visit was checking the observance of the rights of convicts and the conditions of their detention, as well as the reception of convicts, from whom the regional Commissioner received appeals.
Vyacheslav Tulupov paid special attention to the organization of employment of convicts.
At the end of the visit, the Commissioner held a reception for citizens on personal issues. All convicts were given the necessary explanations in accordance with the penal enforcement legislation of the Russian Federation.
