On April 24, the Commissioner for Human Rights in Altai Region Boris Larin visited a number of socially important institutions in Biysk and held a personal reception of citizens.

As part of the working trip, the regional commissioner visited the city employment center, Multifunctional Center sub-office, Pension Fund department and a regional branch of the Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation.

Moreover, Boris Larin held a personal reception of the Biysk residents, who appealed to the Ombudsman on violations of housing, social and medical rights.

In the end, the Commissioner for Human Rights in Altai Region checked the conditions of detention in the regional prisons. As a result of the visit, Boris Larin noted that the new pretrial detention center meets all the requirements of the federal legislation, while the city’s TB dispensary requires major repairs.
