Action Read As You Please took place in Tomsk Region

On May 3, a charitable action Read As You Please which was organized by the regional Commissioner for Human Rights Elena Kartashova ended in Tomsk Region.

As part of the event, books were collected to be delivered in libraries of residential centers for disabled and elderly persons and other social institutions in Tomsk Region. Moreover, some of the books will be donated to local temporary detention centers.

Tomsk residents have collected over 3 thousands issues of different genres, including novels, poetry, albums, reference books and encyclopedias.

Elena Kartashova sincerely thanks the citizens who participated in the action.
