Thanks to High Commissioner Russian citizen returned to homeland

During the pandemic High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova was approached by Chelyabinsk Human Rights Commissioner for assistance to citizen T. in returning her daughter to Russia from Vietnam.

The federal ombudswoman scrutinized the situation and sent a request to the emergency response center for preventing the spread of the new coronavirus in Russia.

As a result, the Russian citizen returned to the state of her citizenship. This fact was confirmed by T. in a telephone conversation. She also sent a thanksgiving letter to the High Commissioner: «I am really happy that during such a huge workload you did not leave us alone with our problem!
