Tatiana Moskalkova agreed on appointment of Tyumen Commissioner

On April 18, an interview between High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova and the candidate for the post of Commissioner for Human Rights in the Tyumen Region Sergey Minevtsev was held in a videoconference mode.
As a result of the interview, the candidacy of Sergey Mincevtsev was agreed upon; the ombudsman’s oath of allegiance is presumably to be held at the next meeting of the Tyumen Regional Duma. The candidature was presented by the Tyumen Regional Duma and the Governor of the region Vladimir Yakushev.
Sergey Vasilievich Minevtsev was born in 1957 in the Kurgan Region. After graduating in 1987 from the Tyumen State Medical Institute, until 2013, he worked at the Tyumen Regional Clinical Hospital. He has a scientific degree of candidate of medical sciences. He was elected a deputy of the Tyumen City Duma of the fifth convocation, he is a member of the Council for the implementation of the national project «Health» and demographic policy. In 2013, he was appointed to the post of Commissioner for Human Rights in the Tyumen Region.
