Russian and CoE Commissioners met with Ukrainian sailors in Lefortovo Prison

When communicating with seafarers, the CE Commissioner asked them about the conditions of detention, health and medical care.
The sailors reported that they were fully provided with food and satisfied with the conditions of detention, every day they had the opportunity to go for a walk, there was everything they needed in the sells: a TV, a fridge, hot water, electric kettles, bathrooms, sleeping accommodation. They also receive food from relatives, have personal accounts to purchase additional food and personal supplies. In addition, the detainees have the opportunity to meet with lawyers and Ukrainian consuls and to correspond with relatives.
