Ms Lutkovska reported that the two were held in separate wards at the Principal Military Medical Clinical Hospital of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence. On 26 May, Mr Alexandrov and Mr Yerofeyev were visited by Alexey Gruby, the head of the Consular Division of the Russian Embassy in Ukraine.
On 29 May, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights personally visited the above citizens. The official response states that Russian nationals were "provided with all medications required for any treatment up to surgery".
