Meeting with members of the Standing Committee on Human Rights of the Bahrain Council of Representatives

On November 8, in Manama, High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova met members of the Standing Committee on Human Rights of the Bahrain Council of Representatives, which is the lower house of parliament.

Tatiana Moskalkova spoke about joint work with the State Duma and the Federation Council to improve human rights legislation, and also paid attention to human rights education. In particular, the Russian ombudswoman invited the Committee to support the initiative to hold annual open lessons on human rights on December 10. Committee members supported this initiative.
