On 17 October, High Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Tatiana Moskalkova held a working meeting with Commissioner for Human Rights in Perm Territory Tatiana Margolina.
During the meeting ombudspersons discussed enhancement of efficiency of the interaction between the federal and regional human rights commissioners. In particular, they spoke about assistance in solving problems related to controversial court practice in relation to people evicted from dangerous dwellings.
Interaction between judiciary and civil society was also one of the important topics discussed at the meeting.
In conclusion Tatiana Moskalkova and Tatiana Margolina exchanged their views on the preparation of the upcoming Coordination Council of Commissioners for Human Rights which would take at the end of the year.
