Meeting of Russian Human Rights Commissioners Coordination Council to take place on 17 June 2016
On 17 June 2016, a meeting of the Coordination Council of Human Rights Commissioners in the Russian Federation will take place in the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation in Moscow on 17 June 2016. It will be chaired by High Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Tatiana Moskalkova. The subject of the meeting is "Interaction between human rights commissioners and authorities and specialised institutions of state human rights protection".
The participants in the meetings will discuss pressing issues of human rights implementation, public analysis of draft laws, objectives of development of the state human rights protection institution, as well as efficient forms of interaction between human rights commissioners and authorities.
Representatives of the State Duma, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, the Presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights and other agencies are to take part in the meeting.
