Meeting of Russian and Ukraine Ombudswomen

On July 15, in Kiev, High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova met with Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova.

The participants of the meeting discussed the protection of Russian citizens in Ukraine and Ukrainian citizens in Russia, as well as the development of cooperation between human rights institutions of the two countries in the humanitarian field.

"It is very important that the presidents held a conversation, and we follow the path of the dialogue that started. It is very important for us to find human rights mechanisms and instruments to help people," Tatiana Moskalkova.

Today, the Russian ombudswoman arrived in Kiev to support head of the RIA Novosti — Ukraine news agency Kirill Vyshinsky at the court hearing.
