On May 24, High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova held a video conference meeting with Ombudsman of the Kingdom of Morocco Mohamed Benalilou.

During the meeting, the Russian ombudswoman spoke about the history of the national human rights institution, dealing with citizens' appeals, work during the COVID-19 pandemic, the scientific and educational center for human rights and the development of international cooperation.

The meeting participants exchanged views on human rights issues and outlined plans for further interaction, in particular, they considered the possibility of signing a Memorandum on Cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, Tatiana Moskalkova invited Mohamed Benalilou to the annual international conference on human rights to be held in October this year.
